Cuki and Zleo feel a bit hang today but we are not complaining as we had the mostest fun ev last night at the launch of Pot Noodle’s newest flave: Numb 7 - Sticky Rib
Fank to danny boy from Cake Group PR, who was kind enuf to allow us to run riot at the launch in Soho at the Arts Theatre on Frith St.
We love a bit of pot nood actionhead in our mowfs and upon hearing that there was a part to celebrate the newest noods on the lunchtime menu, we just had to be there to raise a glass or nine. And with Cuki’s real name (Zuki) meaning noodles, and mine (zleo aka Cleo) meaning pot (not), we just had to go; it would’ve been roodle not to.
Fank to the free bar, we got ourselves a lit bit tips, tips enuf to pull a blinder out of the karaoke bag; Push It. “Tonight Danny, we are going to be *lots of smoke and sparkly ITV lighting* Salt & Pepp…” and we sang, and sang….and kind of sang and then laughed and the got saved by a nice boy in a nice blue teesh. FANK BLUE TEESH BOY! We didn’t win but we did our best, prom.

The venue is litch 3 min walk from Shep Bush underground staish (on the central line) and yes, this IS in heels dollyheads…I (Zleo) live next door and have done the walk a lorra times b4, so nuff to worr about.
If santa was in the music industry, he would be mr eavis, the glastondaddy. But i didn’t get to go to Glast so I went to Latitude instead, the easter bunny of the music world. And aren’t I glad I did?
hell yes, just like a cadbury egg wrapped in pretty purple foil, it was sweeter than the nan from Royale Fam.

My discoverings…
Among the array of amaze hi-tops (PF Flyers, Vans and even Terra Plana) and wick boardwear (Burton) and bags (Vnasport) was a brand called Insight; an Australian mishmash of folky, fun and flippin gorge clothing. for boys there were paisley print tees, farm-print shirts and really nicely fitting jeans and for girls; casual sweat tops with sexy tassels, paint splash leggings and monochrome aztec print bodies. Countryside trips are verr amaze when u work like abso bizheads like us. So off we took in a beaut pimphead Nissan Cube car kindly lent to us by pretty Gloria the Glorious besthead!!

Straight from Talk PR press day, we marched through the shopheads on Ox St to reach our next destination – which was originally going to be the Ascension press day but…- we caught a glimpse of the funness going on outside the River Isle party, our last stop of our scheduled night. Tempted by the glitz, glamour and possible glimpse of some celebheads (and of course C&Cs = cocktails and canapes), we got ourselves ticked off on the g.list and made our silly way inside. Flocks of pretty polished ladies and gents were walking around they like they’d just stepped out of an X Factor dressing room…and then there was us; In our hi-tops and, denim jacks and not so blow-dried hairstyles! oh well, nev mind!
After getting some snaps of Pixie and Alesha, we made our way to the bar…of sweets. yes, there was an actually sweetie bar: fried eggs, shrimps, white choc buttons with 100s and 1000s, strawbs and jelly beans – YUMMMMM HEADS!
Performance of the night prize goes the the amaze manc heads, Kid British. Look at the vid evidence, we adore them and their outfits. stylish boys singing, dancing and doing what they do best; absolute dream heads!
After random hugs, canape queries and plain silly talk to the waiters, we decided to go on a little hunt for fun. Downstairs proved to be the be ‘back of the bus’ cool hanging area. We met some abso loveheads including the Kid Brit boys who were more than happ to talk to us and put up with our silliness and trigger happy hands. Also, get this, we were so excited to hear that the band’s manager is called David Cameron….Prince! Nah, not real. he’s actch called David Cameron Pryde. He might not rule the conserv part of Britannia, but he deff rules the best band from Corrie Land (Manch) right now. Go Dave Cam, yayer!
The boys were SOooo nice, they invited us (well, we might have asked once or twice) to go see Mr Hudson at Shep Bush Empire after the Riv Isle part. FUNNNNNNN! This was absolute hilairness. Apart from when Mr Hud (my brother as we both have the same hair) stole my fur scarf. He thought he looked amaze in it, he looked OK and i didn;t mind a singer star wearing my scarf of course, its just when he said he would wear it for 10 mins and he disappeared for almost 12 mins! (FYI – scarf and zleo’s neck have now been re-united and currently receiving ‘missed-you’ therapy. We wish them well. )
we also met another little sweetheart called Andy, he is one of the Blue Peter trio and told us the new dog’s name….but sorrrrrrrr guys, we canny rememb it oooopshead! he was sooo nice and told us that the Defector’s Weld is the green room bar for BBCites….so those of you wanting to wing yer way into a media job, get flirting in the DW haha!
So, all round (apart from the rain) it was a bloomin amaaaaaaze night. lots of fun had, fank everyone!

In the depths of soho, in a plush plush reception, is a long long lift, up lots and lots of stories, there lies a white white showroom. At just about finishing time, Cuki & Zleo arrived at Talk PR headquarters, and as ushe running slightly late cos we had to meet a German pretending to be Italian man outside Office on Carnaby St (remember we want the pink reindeer Mr Nerman?!) -
So where was I? Oh yes, inside the white white showroom sat the lovely lovely Talk PR director, another lovely lady and miss Arabella – looking as beaut as ever! It was Pinko press day and we wanted to check out the spring summer collections ….and what a collection we checked out. WOW: Spangly leggins (oh yes Cuki!) and silk jumpsuits (Zleo’s wardrobe winners) and some sexy leather numbers (shwexy). But the highlight of this trip was most deff the lovely ladies. They made us laugh, gave us wine and told us they like the blog = these three things are the keys to our silly hearts.
Awww thanks Talk heads, we can’t wait to see you again on tues for Swarovski Crystallized and then weds for the Hunters rubber party, oh yeh
Last week was the spesh day for Eskimo PR as it was their SS10 press day. As they have a whole host of clients, they hire out Sketch on Conduit St, which makes Cuke and Zlee a verr happ duo cos we like it in there, we do we do we dooo wooo.
So it was 9:30am (extra spesh earl for us) and we were offered a nice glass of orange juice. “Yes!” we thought, but after the first mouthful, we then realised it was bloomin champhead! so we were fizz heads for the rest of the trip haha. We were shown round the new collections by Amy; Disney Couture, Ugg, Ted Baker, Simple, Kickers by Lego, Strutt, Wildfox, Junk Food etc etc. All lovely jubb stuff indeed. We were even lucky enough to get a bundle of well nice goodies including UGG arm warmers, a pair of kids Lego Kicker shoes, Ted Baker ballet pumps, more champ and lots more little lovely things….thanks guyssss! We also saw the lovely Gozde ‘hi love!’ was well nice to see your prettiness.
And so, an almond croissant, lots of ‘hellos’, ‘goodbyes’ and ‘wow, i love your tops’ later, we zoomed back to the office up north to cam taan.
